  They say it's not a race, it's about the journey. And I am so very glad Terry Mayo, owner of Cat Tattoo, is on that journey with me. It's not easy switching tattoo artists halfway into a big project, and it was not something I anticipated even after I moved from Atlanta to Dallas. But that's where I found myself, scrounging through websites and news reviews looking for a top-notch artist who could complete the work that someone else had started. Thank god I found Terry. He knew right away what my vision was, is courteous, understanding, and flexible, and his 25+ years of experience shines through each session. He has a private studio we work out of that allows me to find my zen while he composes a masterpiece of color on my back. For those who are restless and need your tattoo done TODAY, cool the jets, find the right artist, and get on their calendar, even if it is a year out. This is something you will live with for the rest of your life.

  Robert was great! I highly recommend him. I was nervous getting my first tattoo and he explained to me that it won’t hurt that it feels more like a cat scratching you and he was right. He did a great tattoo and was very friendly. He recommended that I not put something as part of my tattoo bc it won’t look as good but I really wanted it and he honored that.
